Supporting charity through sport

On Saturday 3rd August 2019, UBL UK participated in the 9th Annual DIL Trust UK T20 Charity Cricket Tournament at the Hub, Regents Park, London.

UBL UK competed alongside Citi Bank, KPMG and the Pakistan High Commission (PHC) in this annual fundraiser organised by DiL Trust UK (Registered Charity in England and Wales, Registration No. 1155825) to raise funds to support their charitable initiatives.

DIL (Development in Literacy) Trust UK are a UK Registered Charity who raise funds to support the education and empowerment underprivileged students, especially girls, throughout Pakistan.  DIL believes that no child in Pakistan, no matter how poor, should be denied access to a quality education. All children should have equal opportunity to reach their full potential, and contribute toward the socio-economic betterment of their communities.

The hotly contested competition at London’s Regents Park brought together three of DiL Trust UK’s Corporate Partners and the High Commission For Pakistan, for a day of cricket, sun but also much needed fund raising activities in support of education in Pakistan.
